Made By Sport accepts sponsored articles and link insertions that are submitted for open indexing by Google. Should any placement fail to achieve indexing within four weeks of publication, we will offer the placing party a full refund and removal of the content, or a complimentary republication — whichever they prefer.
Sponsored content must align with our core editorial subject area: Sport.
We are also able to accommodate placements in the following categories: Cryptocurrency, CBD / THC, Casino & Gambling. A surcharge of +50% above the standard placement rate applies to all content in these categories.
Placement Terms
- All sponsored articles and link insertions are placed for a fixed term of either 12 or 18 months
- Extensions beyond the agreed term can be negotiated individually and may be eligible for a discounted renewal rate
- All placement agreements are rendered void in the event that the site is subjected to a Google ban, algorithmic filter, or manual penalty action
- If you do not have a ready-to-submit article, we are able to produce one on your behalf upon request

Link Insertions Within Sponsored Articles
Sponsored articles already placed on our site may also accept link insertions from third parties, subject to the following conditions:
- For the original article owner: each link insertion added to your sponsored article extends your own primary link’s placement period by an additional 6 months
- For the link insertion buyer: placement runs for 12 months, with extension available under a separate arrangement
- A maximum of 3 link insertions are permitted per article, provided the total number of links in the article does not exceed 4
Link Exclusivity
As the owner of a sponsored article, you have the option to purchase an exclusivity arrangement, which prevents any third-party link insertions from being added to your article.
- Exclusivity surcharge: 30% of the base placement fee
Standalone Link Insertions (Niche Edits)
In addition to sponsored articles, we offer link insertions into articles already published on our site.

Content Requirements
If you are submitting a pre-written article, it must meet all of the following standards before we will consider it for publication:
- The article must be directly relevant to our subject area: Sport
- Factual accuracy is non-negotiable. Submissions that are poorly researched or contain misleading claims will not be accepted
- Content must be educational or informational in nature — covering verified findings, news, events, published research, or documented case studies
- The article must be entirely original: no plagiarism, and not visibly or predominantly AI-generated
- The piece must not have been published anywhere else, in any language or format
- Minimum length: 1,000 words
- The article must be written in fluent, grammatically correct English
- Subheadings and bullet points should be used wherever they aid clarity and readability
- Where relevant, the article should include references to supporting information in English, or clearly cited sources. These reference links are not classified as sponsored links; however, we reserve the right to remove any that appear promotional or commercial in nature
- The author biography must clearly state the author’s professional role and relevant expertise in the subject matter covered
- Language should be professional and accessible to an international readership — avoid regional expressions, unexplained acronyms, or overly narrow specialist terminology
